According to tradition, this building houses David's tomb, as well as the room of the Last Supper. It is built on part of the premises of the Byzantine Agia Tsiyon Church (Church of the Apostles, a Judeo-Christian synagogue). In an adjoining building is the Tomb of David, the dating of which is not certainly established. Jewish pilgrims pray here, particularly on Shavuot, the traditional day of David's death. Near this building, on the left, is the Chamber of Martyrs, commemorating the Jews murdered by the Nazis.
