Going west from chapel of Adam, we pass the Stone of Unction, a polished red stone about six meters long and one meter wide. According to tradition, the body of Jesus was anointed and prepared here for burial, and the Place of the Three Marys (Armenian), from which the holy women watched the anointing, and come to the Rotunda containing the Holy Sepulcher.
