Situated near Kibbutz Ein Gedi. Visitors have access to the reserve's four springs - David, Arugot, Shulamit, and Ein Gedi as well as to bird sanctuaries and wildlife of the desert, including the Nubian ibex and Syrian hyrax. Hikers have the choice of following the two riverbeds David and Arugot and can follow trails past waterfalls, springs, caves and canyons. The International Union for the Conservation of Nature considers the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve a nature reserve with world-wide importance.
The Ein Gedi Nature Reserve is on Route 90 (Dead Sea road) about 1 kilometer north of Kibbutz Ein Gedi.
