A favorite for visitors to Tiberias is a stroll along the Promenade, a pedestrian walk along the lakeside, lined with restaurants. The Galilee Experience, located in the marina building, shows a 38-minute 27 projector multi-image presentation in English, Hebrew, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Finnish, Korean, Norwegian, Dutch, Japanese and Russian on the history of the Galilee, and also has several shops, including a souvenir shop.
Another popular activity in Tiberias is, of course, a trip on the Sea of Galilee. One can take a ride with one of the sailing companies such as The Kinneret Sailing Company or the Lido Company. The Kinneret Sailing Company leaves the promenade regularly for Ein Gev and other attractions such as Kfar Nahum (Capernaum) and Ginossar. The Lido Company sails from Lido beach (on the road leading out of the city to the north), making similar stops around the lake and also operates disco boats and cruises.
